This International Women’s Day, we invite women to an intimate, sensory retreat at Hasher Family Wines. Together with Nina Butler, yoga and meditation teacher and founder of InRetreat, and Liana Jansen, founder of Fijn Botanicals, we’ve curated a day to move, taste, create, and savour the scents and beauty of the Hemel en Aarde valley.
What makes this retreat special
The Women’s Day Aromatic Retreat is designed for women to come together, share stories, and explore all the senses. The morning begins in our private family home, Fern House, with a light breakfast, followed by aromatic yoga and meditation with Nina. A guided fynbos walk will awaken your senses and lead naturally to the heart of the day: a hands-on perfume workshop with Liana from Fijn Botanicals, where each woman will craft a scent entirely her own to take home.
Lunch is shared around the table with seasonal dishes paired with Hasher wines, followed by time to linger over coffee, tea, and cake as the afternoon gently draws to a close. Each woman will leave with memories and a thoughtfully curated gift bag, including their bespoke perfume, a bottle of Hasher wine, vineyard-raised eggs, an organic tote, and a beautiful stainless steel water bottle!

Bring a yoga mat, walking shoes, and a fresh outfit for the afternoon. Villa bathrooms are stocked with Fijn Botanical products to refresh before perfume-making.
