International Winery of the Year — two years in a row.

We’ll be honest: we didn’t see this coming quite so soon.

On 22 April 2026, Hasher Family Wines was named International Winery of the Year at the London Wine Competition — for the second consecutive year. Winning it once is an achievement. Winning it twice in a row is something else — it is proof of consistency, and consistency is what we have always believed true quality looks like.

Leading the results was our Ernest Pinot Noir 2024, which scored 99 out of 100 points, taking Double Gold, Wine of the Year, Pinot Noir of the Year, and Wine of the Year South Africa. Our Batrachella Pinotage 2023 also scored 99 points, the Marimist Chardonnay 2024 scored 98, and both the Cyriel Cabernet Franc 2023 and Nauticus Sauvignon Blanc 2025 scored 95.

We are particularly proud of the Ernest 2024. It is the first time this vintage has been judged on the international stage, and it scored one point higher than the 2023 Ernest did at this same competition last year. That progression matters to us. 2024 was a year of real growth — in the vineyards, in the cellar, and as a team. The shift towards regenerative farming is showing up in the glass, and that is exactly what we set out to do.

This award belongs to everyone at Hasher. From the vineyards to the cellar, from the labels to the logistics — it takes a full team to make a wine that the world takes notice of. We are grateful for every single one of them.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
