We are absolutely thrilled to share that our little corner of the Upper Hemel & Aarde Valley has made some serious waves at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025! This year, we brought home an impressive array of medals that reflect our dedication and passion for winemaking.
The Medal Haul
Platinum – Batrachella Pinotage
Only 137 wines out of 17,000 achieved this prestigious award, which is just 0.8%! Remarkably, this is only the SECOND Pinotage in DWWA history to win platinum. No pressure for next year, right?
Gold – Cyriel Cabernet Franc
Our Cyriel Cabernet Franc has been recognised for its exceptional quality, adding to our growing list of accolades.
Bronze – Ernest Pinot Noir & Nauticus Sauvignon Blanc
Both of these wines have earned bronze medals, showcasing the diversity and excellence of our offerings.
