The last of our grapes are coming in. The presses are becoming silent. The cellar hums with the quiet alchemy of fermentation. Harvest is almost over, and it’s time to celebrate!
On Saturday, April 5th, 2025, join us at Hasher Family Wines for our Autumn Harvest Celebration—a joyful gathering marking the conclusion of a busy season, where the fruits of our labour come together with great company and delicious seasonal delicacies that perfectly complement our wines.
First Sips & Feasting
We’ll begin in the cellar, where our winemaker, Natasha Williams, will guide you through a tasting of the first fermentations straight from the barrels—young, lively, and full of promise. Then, we gather around a harvest table, where chef-curated dishes featuring fresh cheeses, seasonal produce, and many more delightful surprises await.
A Hunt Through the Vines
As we raise our glasses to the season, the children will set off with one of our trusted guides on an Easter forage through the vineyards, discovering authentic Belgian chocolate and the final harvest grapes waiting to be found.

- For adults: A tour of the cellar and a first fermentation tasting straight from the barrels, the first glimpse of the vintage to come, as well as an exclusive tasting of the Marimist Chardonnay 2020 re-release.

15:30 – Harvest table late lunch: A table of local and seasonal harvest plates, fresh cheeses, warm mosbolletjies, our range of exquisite cool-climate wines and more!

Our quarterly ‘Family & Fine Wine Feasts’ have become a cherished tradition in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley, where adults savour exceptional wines and children enjoy a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. These gatherings celebrate what we love most: good food, great wine, and moments shared together.
