Join us on Saturday, 14th June 2025, for Chapter 5 of our Family & Fine Wine Feasts, an intimate winter soirée designed to awaken all five senses.
Adults will be guided through a sensorial wine tasting that stirs sight, sound, touch, scent, and taste, an immersive celebration of the season. Meanwhile, children will explore the world of fynbos through playful creation, crafting their own fragrant keepsakes.
The evening culminates in a candlelit cellar dinner prepared by The Barefoot Cook – seasonal, soulful, and slow.
For the Grown-Ups: An Immersive Tasting
We begin with a sensorial tasting, curated to heighten each of your five senses. Expect unexpected pairings. Quiet reflections. And a deeper connection to our wines and their origins, beyond the glass.
For the Children: Discovery in Every Drop
While the adults savour, the children will embark on a sensory journey of their own. With local fynbos essential oils, they’ll blend, mix, and make fragrant keepsakes, exploring scent and touch while learning about the flora that surrounds us.
Then we gather in the cellar, where chef Anton Verhoogt (The Barefoot Cook) will serve a heart-warming feast. Think slow-cooked comfort, bold winter flavours, and generous pours of our cool-climate wines shared in candlelight and warmth.

The tickets include all wines, food and entertainment as well as a bottle per family of Cyriel Cabernet Franc 2023 to enjoy at home.
